🌟LINDA'S REFLECTIONS (Pt 4)

Imitation: The Sincerest Form of Flatteryđź’ˇ

Ever noticed over time, something quietly powerful, when people adopt approaches, ideas, or habits that you once pioneered or practiced? The first time I encountered it, it caught me off guard. But with reflection, I came to appreciate it deeply. It is how we leave a mark in any place we go, any person we meet, and in anything we do.

There’s a unique kind of affirmation in watching people take something you’ve done, refine it, and make it their own. Whether it’s how you organize your work, lead meetings, develop tools, conceptualize activities, plan events, or even how you show up authentically, it’s a reminder that our actions speak louder than we think. You never know it or see it, but people are always watching and learning.

What caught me even more off guard was when colleagues shared their inspirations, experiences and lessons from me. I was stunned. I came to the reflective conclusion that imitation isn’t about copying. It’s about influence. It’s about impact. And it’s about growth, both theirs and mine.

So to those who’ve mirrored something I’ve done and elevated it: THANK YOU🙏 . You’ve reminded me that leadership is often quiet, and that the ripple effect of our choices can go far beyond what we see.

Let’s keep learning from each other. Let’s keep growing💪 .
